Introduced in England around the 1860s, spoon warmers were filled with hot water to keep serving spoons warm in chilly dining rooms. They were both functional and decorative, often seen in the homes of the well-to-do.
This example features delicate engraved detailing. While unmarked, it remains a lovely representation of Victorian silver plate.

Measures approximately 5.5" tall. Shows some wear and tarnish consistent with age.
