This is a gorgeous set of four vintage, possibly antique, French Louis XVI style harp back or lyre back dining chairs with bronze Ormulu mounts.
They feature upholstered seats, ornate lyre or hard backs, tapered, turned, and fluted legs, bronze ormolu mounts, and appear to be made of mahogany or walnut.
Solid, sturdy, and comfortable, with minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. One chair has had a leg repaired and is slightly crooked, as pictured. Reflected in price.
