This basket features an open weave design with a few darker strands of rattan running through, thereby creating lots of visual texture. It has a subtle hexagonal base and finishes with a round top rim. A lovely warm patina further enhances the artistry of this basket. A truly exquisite piece.
It could be decorative, used as a planter cachepot (plant potholder), or as a laundry basket hamper/storage piece, hold clean rolled towels for a shower, bath, pool, etc., many uses. It has been used to house an inside plant at some point, so it has some remnants of dirt, as shown.
