The scene depicts a moonlit Parisian street in Montparnasse, rendered in Bohrod’s characteristic realist style, with strong architectural perspective and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow. Figures animate the composition, lending narrative depth and atmosphere to the nocturnal cityscape.

The lithograph is pencil-signed by the artist in the lower margin and was printed by George C. Miller & Son, one of the leading American fine-art printers of the period. AAA editions are recognized for their high production standards and their role in bringing original works by leading American artists to a wider audience.

Bohrod studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League of New York and was a two-time Guggenheim Fellow. His work is held in major institutional collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Hirshhorn Museum.
