I know this is melodramatic, but when I saw this sofa in the EJ Victor showroom, I literally gasped. (One of the photos is from that visit.) They had it displayed in the center of a room under spotlights and it just glowed. I have never seen such a luxuriously-upholstered sofa. I could not wait to touch the fabrics.

It is done in a rich, dense velvet with an interesting "wave" pattern. In an attempt to get more detail in a darker room. I washed out the color somewhat when adding contrast. The photos showing a more gold tone (pics 2, 3,4 and 5) are a more accurate depiction of the actual color. (The close-up photos show the color the best, with the unretouched pic of the sofa in front of white French doors being the overall best representation of the color.)

This beautiful sofa was in a closed-door parlor in a formal home and rarely used, and is in excellent pre-owned condition.
