Handwoven Peruvian alpaca wool wall tapestry dating to 1980, featuring a bold geometric composition rendered in saturated magenta, rose, ochre, and black. Woven in the Andean tradition, the textile displays strong graphic symmetry and a rich, tactile surface that reads as both artisanal and modern. The tapestry is signed and inscribed with the name and date, "Ezequias Zuniga" and ''14 Febrero De 1980''.
The palette and patterning give the piece a distinctly contemporary presence, making it well suited for use as a wall hanging or decorative textile in a variety of interior settings. The natural wool fibers offer depth and warmth, while the scale and visual impact allow it to function as a statement piece when mounted or draped.
A one-of-a-kind vintage textile that bridges traditional Andean craftsmanship with modern design sensibility.
Measurements: 72 inches long. The textile tapers naturally, measuring approximately 51 inches wide at the top and 63 inches wide at the bottom.
