The enamels show expected wear including scattered losses, surface wear, and visible cracking to the interior enamel panel. The metal surfaces display tarnish and oxidation, and there are minor enamel losses along the raised floral decoration. The hinge remains functional, and the box opens and closes properly, retaining an appealing, age-appropriate patina. less
