Cadman Mathias is a celebrated Antiguan artist known for his vibrant, stylized paintings, particularly his depictions of Caribbean life, movement, and body language, often using watercolors and oils to capture the essence of his homeland, with works featured in hotels, galleries, and international exhibitions. He gained recognition early in his career, representing Antigua in a 1986 calendar and achieving success in art competitions, leading to solo shows and international exposure, including at the Museum of Modern Art (DR) and the Art Museum of the Americas (DC) in the 1990s, making him a popular choice for collectors.
