Artisans in Ishikawa, Japan, have applied the traditional “hakute-gaki morikomi” raised technique, layering authentic Kanazawa gold leaf (designated as a Traditional Craft of Japan in 1977), colored leaf, and metallic powders to create a graceful and vibrant expression.

The finely finished Tochi wood plate features a black-lacquered back and measures 30 × 30 × 3 cm (approx. 11.8 × 11.8 × 1.2 in), weighing 460 g.
