A magnificent goblet vase in fine crystal with pure gold relief decorations. Unsigned, but attributed to Ludwig Moser, it was made in Austria in the early 20th century, in the Art Nouveau style. The gold bands are extremely richly decorated with bas-relief decorations, some burnished, or worked with agate stone, and some not, creating this interplay of varying degrees of gold sheen. This is a highly valuable and demanding workmanship. This is particularly evident in the gold band inside and outside the mouth of the goblet. The bas-relief work is also very beautiful, as is the vase's elongated and extremely elegant double-chalice shape, with a similar mouth and base separated by an elongated central body with various rounded bulges and angular discs, finished with pure gold rings. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
