Set of two Art Deco nightstands, Central Europe, 1930s. Spruce veneered in zebrawood and karelian birch veneer, interior equipped with one shelf and a drawer veneered in mahogany veneer, silver plated knobs. Original condition, cleaned and lightly retouched, some veneer patching, treated with wood wax to nourish the wood, tops refinished in satin varnish, interior lightly sanded, door knobs polished. Light wear consistent to age, some imperfections and traces of use and time, patina.
All items are described truthfully and objectively. As most pieces are antique or vintage, they naturally show visible traces of age and use.
