An elegant freestanding writing desk designed by Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf in the 1950s. Crafted in rich oak, the piece showcases a tactile warmth through its finely grained surface and clean, streamlined aesthetic. The desk features generous storage, including six drawers at the front, two open compartments at the back, and an additional compartment with a door, combining practicality with thoughtful design. The top is spacious and flat, providing ample workspace for writing, drawing, or working on a computer. A fine brutalist object that fits in many interior styles, including Modern, Scandinavian, Art Deco, or Classic interiors. with a heavy focus on functionality, this design leans toward modernism while maintaining a sense of coziness. The Scandinavian design approach reflects a philosophy of sustainable living and harmonious interior environments. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
