An impressive glass pendant lamp by the renowned manufacturer Peill & Putzler.
The design showcases an organic form. Its symmetrical shape evokes associations with a life form. The large glass shade is dome-shaped and features indentations and protrusions on its underside, resembling softly curved louvers. The glass incorporates transparent and frosted surfaces that react differently to light. The transparent top reveals the lamp's interior. The frosted ornamentation on the underside reflects white light. It acts as both a diffuser and reflector, further highlighting the complex details of the form. The socket is chrome-plated. The chrome surface curves inward in a funnel shape, merging seamlessly with the socket. This reflective surface amplifies the light and multiplies the internal structures.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina. This piece has an attribution mark,
