This set of four elegant dining chairs was designed by Gustav Herkströter for Lübke. Lübke is known for its beautifully shaped and high-quality design and frequently drew inspiration from the designs of Danish masters.
The chair's sculptural backrest and tapered legs combine exceptional comfort and balanced proportions to create an iconic, timeless piece of furniture.
The seat cushions are upholstered in the typical wool fabric of the period, in muted beige and brown tones, and are in excellent condition. The solid wood has been treated with a rosewood stain and varnish. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
