An exceptional pair of Italian Murano glass chandeliers by Barovier & Toso, from the celebrated Fireworks (Fuochi d’Artificio) series, designed and produced in the 1950's.
Authentic Murano Production with Original Labels
Each chandelier is composed of radiating, sculptural arms in handblown pink Murano glass, richly infused with shimmering gold flecks (aventurine) that catch and reflect light with dramatic effect and suspended from a brass rod and canopy. The organic, explosive form—reminiscent of a burst of light or fireworks mid-air—is a hallmark of Barovier & Toso’s postwar innovation and mastery of artistic glassmaking.
The Fuochi d’Artificio chandeliers are among the most celebrated works by Barovier & Toso and are held in major private and institutional collections.
