This vintage hand-blown glass pitcher is crafted in luminous opaline glass and stands approximately 4.5 inches high. The body was formed using an optic mold, creating a repeating oval relief pattern that gives depth and visual texture beneath the softly opaque white surface.
The pitcher features a balanced, sculptural form with a gently flared rim, integrated pouring spout, and an applied clear glass handle. Subtle blue undertones appear near the rim when illuminated, a characteristic effect seen in heat-worked opaline glass.
The base is finished with a ground pontil and visible pontil scar, confirming hand-blown studio production rather than pressed manufacture. Minor internal variations and small incidental bubbles are present, consistent with hand craftsmanship. No maker’s mark is observed.

The glass shows no cracks, chips, or repairs. Light surface wear and minor internal variations are present, consistent with age and hand-blown manufacture. The underside retains a visible pontil scar with a ground base, a result of traditional hand-blown glassmaking. After separation from the pontil rod, the base was ground flat, leaving a textured pontil remnant at the center. This is intentional and typical of studio-made glass, and should not be considered damage or a manufacturing flaw. less
