The satin texture is subtle and refined, given depth and variation by dark oxidation of the silver particularly in the beaded trim around the mirror plate. No obvious foxing in the glass to blur the reflection so likely the mirror plate is a 20th century replacement. The scale is perfect to make a big impact in any room.
