These 20th century tables are based on consoles from the 1700s, with finely carved motifs wrapping the apron, accented by pastel pink and green paint (in lieu of the traditional gold gilt) over a French gray wash to keep the design light and cheerful. Two fluted, tapering legs are braced by a curved stretcher that is mounted with a finial (like an urn), adhering to the Neoclassical formula that carries all the decorative elements from the top to the floor. This pair of vintage carved and painted corner tables are sure to be an uplifting addition to any room (or two). It is recommended that they be fixed to the wall for security.
