The sculptural baluster-form bodies display deeply carved spiral and fluted detailing, rising from stepped square crystal plinths and set atop richly veined marble bases. Gilt-brass fittings provide a refined contrast and complete the classical silhouette. The crystal elements were manufactured in France by Baccarat, then imported to the United States, where the lamps were mounted, wired, and assembled by Paul Hanson using high-quality brass components and marble bases.
