Original Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada III (1848–1920), titled Nakamura Shikan as Shinanoya Ohan, published in 1902. The image depicts the celebrated kabuki actor Nakamura Shikan in a theatrical role, rendered in Kunisada III’s refined late-Meiji style, with elegant line work, rich color, and expressive costume detail.
