Antique Rectangular Split Oak Gathering Basket, Circa 1900
Found in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. circa 1900
Estate fresh from a local Mennonite Farmhouse, near Hinkletown, PA
Made from split oak, and a nailed on top band. Hand cut and shaped handle. Basket has lots of patina. Perfect for gathering fruits and vegetables.
Size: 13 1/4” by 9 1/2”, 11 1/4” tall
Condition: As found original condition. Lots of patina, use and wear marks. one small area of loss on the bottom corner. See pictures.
