PLEASE NOTE: Due to warehouse relocation; this item will ship the first week of August.
Trio of colorful Tlaquepaque Mexican redware casseroles. These were originally used as cooking pans but today are mainly used for serving or decoration. Artisan crafted of terra cotta forming red clay by hand and then painting with scenes / symbols of everyday life. The explosion of the Mexican tourism trade in the 1950s resulted in a similar spike in the fabrication of these pieces. We believe these to be from that era.
Dimensions: 12.5"W x 10"D x 5"H, 9.25"W x 7.25"D x 4.5"H, 5.8"W x 4.5"W x 2.75"H.
Very good vintage condition; surface wear from previous enjoyment.
