With its polished chrome base and sharply beveled edge, Knoll’s table desk looks every bit as modern today as it did when it debuted in 1961. Similar to Saarinen’s iconic tulip table, the X-shaped pedestal base maximizes leg room while reducing visual clutter.

Rarer than the oval variants of similar size, this six foot round retains its original tag, adding value for collectors of vintage Knoll pieces. Accommodates 8-10 guests as needed.

The tabletop has been fully refinished. The base is sturdy and shows light vintage wear. Overall in excellent condition. The original label is damaged but intact, with “Knoll” legible on the left hand side and the red of the K logo still visible on the right. The top is a rich, earthy color with pockets of amber and streaks of black – as good as rosewood gets. See less
