Each piece reinterprets … Read more A sculptural vintage pair of symmetrical canapés designed and handcrafted in 1999 by Parisian designer Jean-Rémy Couradette. Each piece reinterprets a classic scroll-arm silhouette with a clean, architectural profile, created as a bespoke commission for a private interior and conceived to work as a perfectly mirrored set.
The hardwood frames are finished in a soft bleached oak tone with a subtle whitewashed patina, sealed under a protective matte clear coat. The pair was professionally reupholstered in 2022 in a Brunschwig & Fils patterned velvet in a turquoise and beige palette, giving the canapés a refreshed, presentation-ready look while preserving their original vintage character.
