A refined one-off pair of upholstered stools designed and produced in France in 2001 by Parisian designer Jean-Rémy Couradette. Compact yet sculptural, each piece is built around an elegantly curved, cross-form wooden base with hand-carved scroll detailing, giving the pair a subtle neoclassical rhythm while staying clean and contemporary in silhouette.
The seats combine a caramel leather lower cushion with a richly patterned textile top in deep blues, greens, and ivory, finished with decorative tassel trim at the corners. This mix of materials and texture creates a strong decorative presence while remaining practical as versatile accent seating—ideal as dressing-room stools, occasional perches in a library, or statement accents in a living room. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising

misattribution
