vase "jardinière", ovoid in shape with a quadrangular opening.

made of marbled glass – or pâte de verre – mold-blown and tinted on the surface with nuanced shades of orange and brown; the texture is matte, satiny to the touch.
this model was created and executed at the very beginning of the 20th century, around 1910. Art nouveau period.

signed on one side of the object, in intaglio within the decoration in stylized letters, "daum nancy", with the cross of lorraine.

bibliography: "le génie verrier de l'europe" (cappa g., 1998); model reproduced on page 223, reference 365 (see photo).

condition: excellent overall condition; no particular wear, damage, or chips, no missing pieces, nothing.

minor and inconsequential scratches (rare and fine) on the reverse of the base; possible, very rare signs of use around the neck, but without any impact on its condition.

overall, however, the item is in excellent condition. This piece has an attribution mark,
