Beautiful, rare ceramic ampoule vase, entirely airbrushed and finished with a metallic lustre. Made by the renowned Faenza ceramist Alberto Mingotti and signed under the base M.T. Forlì. The lustre of this beautiful vase is very similar to the works of the Bottega Gatti in Faenza, or pieces by Melandri, which it rivals in every way.
Information on the artist and/or manufacturer:
Alberto Mingotti, trained in Faenza, inspired by the lustre ceramics of the Bottega Gatti, opened a ceramics workshop in Forlì with his partner Tedolini, hence the name M.T. (Mingotti Tedolini) Forlì. He participated in numerous competitions and exhibited his work in numerous exhibitions, winning several awards. This piece has an attribution mark,
