A stunning trilobed, triple-bulbed ceramic vase, entirely hand-molded on a lathe, glazed, and vitrified. It is hand-decorated with a Futurist-style black decoration on a yellow marbled background, depicting a bather diving into the sea, with a boat and floral decorations. It was made, numbered, and signed under the base by the Bitossi factory, dating back to the early decades of the 20th century. The vase's value, in our opinion, lies primarily in its departure from Bitossi's typical production, and instead draws closer to that of artists such as Cagli or Baldelli, or to manufacturers such as Rometti or Galvani. This is an important, extremely rare, and artistically significant vase, a true gem for art lovers and collectors.
