This factory-made three-legged stool from the 1950s, made in Germany from solid wood and steel, is an example of authentic industrial design from the middle of the last century. The solid, stable base with three steel legs has been finished with a matte green paint, the surface of which reveals chips and wear, exposing the raw metal in places. The wooden seat, with its distinct dark brown color and semi-matte finish, retains visible grain and minor scratches, emphasizing the natural passage of time and use. The nameplate bears the inscription "T.H. Karlsruhe, Inst. f. Theor. Elektrotechnik u. Messtechnik," confirming its institutional origins at a prestigious German scientific institute. The original inventory number has been preserved. The technical condition is very good—structurally stable, with historical signs of use typical of its original laboratory function. The form of the stool tells the story of post-war Europe: clearly functional, without unnecessary decoration, as if every line served a practical purpose. The wooden seat bears traces of enormous changes – it is a place where science met the everyday life of an industrial laboratory. The metal structure, with visible welds and paint abrasions, conveys the spirit of an era in which the durability of the material and the simplicity of the construction took precedence over decorations or ornaments. This piece of furniture remembers the hum of measuring machines, student conversations, and concentration at workstations – its quiet presence commands respect for past generations of engineers. The factory stool can be introduced into the arrangement as an autonomous accent in loft spaces or austere, minimalist living rooms. Paired with a coffee table made of aged wood or next to a lamp with a technical pedigree, it works well as a seat, footrest, or unusual display surface for books or plants. It is worth combining it with soft fabrics to contrast the industrial austerity with the warmth of a home interior. It will also work well in eclectic collector's spaces – surrounded by metal, glass, and simple silhouettes from the 1950s, its authenticity is further emphasized. This piece has an attribution mark,
