Beautiful, very antique aryballica lekythos vase, made of pinkish figulina clay, modeled entirely by hand on a high-speed wheel, with a matte black glaze partially covered with a bronze leaf. The vase has a globular, ribbed body, a cylindrical neck, a funnel-shaped mouth, and a ribbon handle that connects the mouth to the narrow shoulder of the vase. The aryballica lekythos is a balsam vase used for essential oils and scented unguents, used in funerary settings. The patina covering the object is evident.
