Carl Andersson Roseberg (1916-1979) "Reclining Figure" 194, carved wood figure on integrated base, signed on base.
Roseberg taught art at the College of William and Mary for more than 30 years. His career started in Iowa, where this was originally sculpted. There are two labels, one from the Iowa State Fair c. 1945 and a label from the Twentieth Century Gallery in Williamsburg, Virginia.
