This print originally appeared in a French magazine that dates to 1931. It is a prime example of Brandt’s genius. Brandt forged the emerging technology of the machine age into artistic form, aligned art with industrial methods and created a wealth of objets d’art. He became one of the leading decorative artists in France who did private commissioned work as well as large scale public buildings and monuments. He designed gateways, grills, lamp bases, consoles, screens, etc. Today his works have significant historical importance. This 9.5 x 12 inch image reflects the geometric beauty and design of Brandt’s creations. This print is rare as Brandt's designs are highly desireable and collectible with the passage of time. It is in pristine condition. It comes matted in a 16 x 20 inch neutral tone custom mat ready for a standard size frame. Please allow time for custom matting.
