This vibrant Asian painting features a blue bird perched on a branch and surrounded by red, pink and yellow flowers and green leaves.
Done in the traditional East Asian "bird and flower" style and signed by the artist.
Newly matted and framed in a faux gilt bamboo frame, this piece looks amazing. Please note - the frame does not have glass in it.
The frame measures 23” x 28”. The artwork visible is 16 1/2” x 21 1/2”.
The actual art is close in size to the frame, without the mat.
The artwork includes calligraphy and a red seal stamp (artist’s signature) which is typical for this style of painting.
Similar pieces date to the mid-20th century or Showa period (1926-1989).
