The lamp features … Read more Sculptural mid-century modern table lamp attributed to Tony Paul for Westwood Studio Lighting, California, circa late 1950s–1960s. The lamp features a beautifully contoured mahogany body with faceted, molded construction and a weighted brass base, exemplifying the refined California Danish aesthetic associated with Westwood Studio.

The brass shows honest signs of age, including areas of natural patina and light tarnish, most notably at the base, consistent with vintage brass and adding depth and character. The mahogany exhibits age-appropriate wear, including subtle staining, tonal variation, visible construction seams from the original molded assembly, and one very small edge indentation, unobtrusive and consistent with use.

The lamp remains in original, unmolested condition, retaining its original wiring, socket, and hardware, all of which are fully operational. The socket is stamped and period-correct. Harp and finial appear period-appropriate.

The drum shade is crafted in a nubby cotton-linen fabric and appears to be original or period-appropriate. The shade presents well overall, with a few minor indentations visible on the interior only and not affecting the exterior appearance.
