Hand-carved from fine walnut, it features a bold neoclassical architecture that has been lavished with full relief carved detail inspired by the Renaissance for the best of both worlds. The multi-tiered crown features dentil molding over a frieze that depicts floral garlands all across the top, flanked by plinths carved with a family crest. The corners are carved to depict Ionic columns, with two adjustable shelves spanning the entire width. The lower tier sports three convenient drawers fitted with carved pulls and flanked by lions' heads over two more shelves below, framed by corners carved with corbels and della robia in glorious full relief. The shallow design makes it very traffic-friendly for the room, even with such an impressive visual allure.
