Designed as a decorative plant stand, the octagonal jardinière rests on a finely turned central column supported by three richly carved cabriole legs, each embellished with flowing foliate and acanthus motifs. The warm, medium walnut patina enhances the depth of the carving and reflects the skilled craftsmanship characteristic of Black Forest work.
The octagonal planter is encircled by deeply carved scrolling foliage panels that frame inset fields and create a rhythmic, architectural presence.
