Originally used to collect olive oil, the vessel features a classic ovoid form with a gently tapering base and wide open mouth, designed for both function and durability. The jar is hand-thrown from terracotta and finished with a rich honey-amber glaze at the shoulder, which cascades downward in natural drips over the unglazed lower body, creating a striking contrast in tone and texture. Horizontal turning lines remain visible throughout, emphasizing its handmade character.
