Lovely monochrome abstract watercolor in blacks and grays with graphite markings and gold accents. On heavy ivory cotton paper, signed en verso, under gallery acrylic (not pictured) in a heavy vintage solid wood frame in warm gold tones, showing enough patina to give it character. The heft of the frame accentuates the light strokes and soft color of the painting.
A rare and versatile piece that will suit both contemporary and traditional decor, which can be hanged in any direction (sawtooth is on the horizontal) or stood by itself on a shelf.
