Willson vintage Steel Tin Box with unique and interesting Rusty Patina and Chippy Black Paint.
A 1920s-1930s era piece with an industrial retro steampunk vibe.
The box originally came as packaging for a pair of Willson brand safety glasses.
Great for small tools, screws, knick-knacks or trinkets. Or use as a jewelry box or desk organizer.
Made of iron/steel (the metal is magnetic), with a worn black finish that is showing the wear and history of the box. The inside of the box is nice and clean in comparison to the outside and has much less loss of paint.
The metal is very solid and does not easily dent, although it does have one slight dent on one side (see pics)
Hinged lid for easy access - the hinges work well, swing smoothly and easily, and the lid stays closed even when turned upside down.
