Antique English transferware plate in the “Jeddo” pattern by H. Hancock, Staffordshire, circa 1890–1910.
There was a fascination with the Japanese in the late 19th century in England. Producers created asian sounding names and patterns on their creations.
There is wear on the rim, and some on the plate, please see pictures.
