Design Plus Gallery presents the Eero Saarinen Tulip Swivel Side Chair from Knoll. The chair is designed and refined based on Eero Saarinen's training as a sculptor. He created the tulip chairs a pedestal collection with the aspiration to eliminate legs found under chairs and tables. In collaboration with Knoll, he built a series of miniature models and full-size prototypes, iterating the design to create furniture that beautified an era. Seat shell is made of molded fiberglass with a white powdercoat over aluminized. The perfectly proportioned padded seat rest velcro's in for stability and is in a well known red from the brand. Is in good condition for its usage. Made in USA.
