This mid-century modern Lane Tuxedo bowtie-inlaid china cabinet/buffet showcases clean architectural lines, warm walnut tones, and the signature bowtie inlay that defines this distinctive line designed by Ernest Swarts and O.B. Solie and patented in 1959. Produced through the early 1960s and considered somewhat uncommon, the Tuxedo collection reflects Lane’s refined approach to craftsmanship and understated decorative detail. Designed with versatility in mind, the removable upper hutch allows the piece to function either as an elegant china cabinet for display or as a streamlined buffet to suit the changing needs of the dining space.
