The tailored yet graceful lines of the Louis Philippe period have transcended time, as evidenced by this 19th century Louis Philippe sofa, handcrafted from exotic imported mahogany and sculpted to perfection by very talented artisans. Hand-carved detailing includes a rope bordering across the arched seatback, with swan-like grace in the armrest supports enhanced by acanthus fronds, with fully laden grapevines, foliate scrolls and lions' paws on the feet below. Upholstery is in very serviceable condition but easily replaced to coordinate with your decor.
