The sculptural form wraps fully around the vessel, creating a richly detailed, classical composition inspired by Renaissance and Baroque decorative traditions.

The pitcher is hand-modeled and hand-glazed, with visible glaze pooling and surface variation consistent with studio pottery. The underside is incised and dated “May 1976,” indicating individual craftsmanship rather than factory production.
