The design is by Ernest Igl, and the execution is attributed to Apollonar-Gałecki – which makes this object unique in the context of Polish post-war design.
The lampshade is made of perforated plastic (creating a starry, diffused light effect) and is mounted on a three-legged metal base. The whole piece resembles an abstract organic form, balancing between a sculpture and a functional lighting object.
