The composition features bold yet balanced motifs, including a central radiating rosette, scalloped triangular panels, and finely patterned chevron borders. The dyes—deep mahogany and warm reddish brown—are traditional vegetal pigments applied crisply to the surface, resulting in sharp definition and strong visual rhythm.
Purchased in 1975 from the a museum deaccession sale, this piece has remained in a private collection for decades. Its scale and graphic clarity make it especially well-suited for framing or direct display as wall art, offering both cultural significance and sculptural impact.
