I say rare or … Read more A wonderful very rare or one of a kind extra long fretwork glass top console table.
I say rare or one of a kind because I have never seen this particular style table before and I have seen pretty much every vintage fretwork style. It may have been custom made way back when.
The table features a removable inset glass top with a fabulous diamond design underneath.

The surround features pretty fretwork trim on the top, legs and all around. As I stated in the condition section, the table legs were previously cut or lowered to suit the owners desires. The table was very low for a console in my opinion so I added thick wood feet and a wood block. The added height gives the table a "normal" console height.
The table was white when I acquired it. I gave it a refresher with white gloss paint. The paint is not perfect however it looks very good. The table has a sort of slight texture and a cracked like finish. This is original to this finish.
This is a very beautiful, unusually long table, so it's perfect behind a sofa or a large foyer. See less
