Chinese Yixing Zisha lotus flower frogs teapot, a finely formed, olive green, teapot in the shape of a lotus flower … Read more Chinese Yixing Zisha lotus flower frogs teapot, a finely formed, olive green, teapot in the shape of a lotus flower with a frog finial atop a lotus seed pod lid which has ten individually carved lotus seeds in a light umber hue. The pot is supported by three frogs, forming the feet. The handle is a lotus flower stem and the spout is a lotus flower rhizome. Two maker's marks are carved, one under the lid and the other at the bottom of the pot. Circa mid century or earlier.
