This is a large hand carved and painted Antique Chinoiserie Elephant Bracket-Shelf. From the 1920s, the antique features two elephants in profile supporting a fairly large display shelf. The top has a painted botanical lotus flora design. The elephants are black and contrast nicely with the red of the shelf. Beautiful design item.
