Dimensions: … Read more This two-tier Japanese jubako (stacking box with lid) is made from beautiful wood with a rich, flowing grain pattern.

Dimensions: height 14.5 cm, width 19.5 cm, depth 19.5 cm.

The warm brown finish brings the wood to life, and the exterior is elegantly enhanced with a hand-painted floral design in soft tones: seasonal flowers with green leaves and delicate branches, balanced across the surface. Along the edges you’ll find a red lacquered trim, typical for this type of box and a striking contrast to the darker wood.

Traditionally, jubako boxes were used to present and store small dishes and delicacies, especially for festive occasions. Today, this piece is just as appealing as a decorative yet practical storage box at home: on a desk, for jewellery, make-up, accessories, or small collectibles. The two tiers make it easy to organise, while the lid keeps everything neatly closed.
